What are Fulvic Acids?

The WOKAS FULVI Growth Stimulator line consists of 6 products for various applications: universal use, vegetables and herbs, fruit plants, ornamental plants, as well as lawns and ornamental grasses. Wokas FULVI is an organic-mineral growth stimulator produced on the basis of peat, which proves its simple and safe composition. It is a completely natural liquid extract from peat containing concentrated amounts of fulvic acid, widely used in foliar application.

Fulvic acids, more precisely fulvic acid salts, are humic substances with a low molecular weight, formed as a result of oxidation and degradation of organic matter. They consist of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen and contain large amounts of radicals that positively stimulate plant metabolic processes. The high oxygen-to-hydrogen ratio ensures extremely high cation exchange capacity, allowing these compounds to capture and transport huge amounts of positively charged nutrients, such as magnesium, calcium, and iron. The greatest advantage of fulvic acids is their ability to easily diffuse through membranes due to their small molecular mass. This allows them to transport large amounts of attached nutrients directly to the sites of cell metabolism during foliar application. Fulvic acid salts are active at any pH range, which makes them easy to use.

  1.   Provides higher yields – Increased mineral absorption improves overall growth rate and enhances the development of flowers and shoots.
  2.  Supports root development – Shortens seed germination time.
  3.  Acts as a chelator – Easily captures and transports nutrients to target sites of plant metabolism.
  4.  Protects plants from environmental stress – Helps alleviate oxygen deficiencies, increasing resistance to drought and other stress factors.
  5.  Improves cation exchange capacity – Allows plants to absorb more nutrients effectively.
